s/v Trio

"Trio" is a 1977 Cape Dory Typhoon. Designed by
Carl Alberg, she has a length on deck of 18.5' and displaces 2000lbs. She
was sold in the spring of 2003, but remains in my heart as a wonderful boat
and teacher. |

Her
900lb lead keel provides wonderful stability...she truly sails like
"'America's littlest yacht" |

It's said that of all the boats Mr. Alberg designed he owned only one
Cape Dory...a Typhoon! |

Dad and I took a skipper's
course at Stone Valley near State College, PA back in the 70's, and the
family owned a series of daysailer's. |
